Step 4: Place the replacement device in pairing mode. See the below chart for information on how to place specific devices in pairing mode:

Cycle the power (switch OFF and then ON) of each identified circuit using the circuit breakers. This places the
devices into pairing mode and starts their search for a Wireless Area Controller. Pairing mode automatically
times-out after 60 minutes if a device does not successfully pair with a Wireless Area Controller. Only
unpaired devices will enter pairing mode on the power cycle.
Note: Standard WaveLinx Wallstations (line voltage powered) will also respond to this pairing technique.
