Place scale on hard, flat surface. Allow scale to shut off and restart.
Check battery installation and replace worn batteries.
Too much weight is placed on the scale. Remove weight before proceeding.

Store and operate in a dry location, avoid direct sunlight, extreme temperatures or humidity.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and submerging in water.
Remove batteries if the unit is not in use for three months or longer.
Use the unit consistently with the instructions provided in this manual.

Unwrap batteries, install them correctly, and close the battery cover.
Place scale on hard, flat surface, turn on, select desired measurement unit (grams, kg, oz, lbs).
Place an item on the center of the scale to display its weight.
Scale auto-shutoffs after inactivity or resets timer when new item is added.
Allows returning the scale to zero to subtract the weight of a plate or container.
Calculate calorie content by multiplying calorie factor by grams of food.
