AND
DESCRIPTION
The
Model
RO-2
is
a
portable
air
ion
chamber
instru-
ment
used
to
detect
beta
(8),
gamma
(у),
and
x-ray
radiation.
The
RO-2
has
four
linear
ranges
of
operation
to
measure
dose
rate
for
x-ray
and
у
radiation.
The
ion
chamber
is
vented
to
atmospheric
pressure
and
is
speci-
fically
designed
to
have
flat
energy
response
into
the
x-ray
region,
The
Model
КО-2
is
sensitive
10
8,
y,
and
x-ray
and
is
calibrated
to
y
radiation
(77С5),
A
single
rotary
switch
turns
the
instrument
off,
provides
a
bat-
tery
check,
checks
the
zero
setting,
and
selects
the
range
of
operation.
