Pairing the Bluetooth
®
Generator

Installing the ECHO COMMAND
™
app on your Bluetooth
®
enabled iOS or Android device allows you to view and control
many of the generator’s functions from your device.
From the app store on your iOS or Android Bluetooth
®
enabled device, locate and install the ECHO COMMAND
™
app.
Open the app and follow the directions as shown in the
ECHO COMMAND
™
app.
NOTE: Make sure Bluetooth
®
is enabled on your device.
Start the generator. Push and hold the “Push and Hold to
Pair” button below the LCD panel on the generator until
the LCD panel displays “Pairing Mode.”
The LCD screen on the generator and the app on your
device will indicate a successful pairing.
NOTE: If the generator and app do not pair, make sure
that “Pairing Mode” is displayed during the pairing process
and that Bluetooth
®
is enabled on your device.
Press the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
This will show you the available features that can be
controlled through the app.
Moving the Generator
See Figure 13.
Turn off the generator.
Raise the handle to the up position.
Disconnect any equipment that is plugged into the
generator.
Verify the on/off/choke lever is in the OFF position.
Allow 30 minutes of “cool down” time before storing the
machine. Make sure engine and exhaust of unit are cool.
With your foot on the rear of the frame, tilt the machine
toward you until it balances on the wheels, then roll the
machine to the desired location.
High Altitude Operation
Your engine is configured for operation below 2,000 feet
(609.6 m) altitude at the factory. Your engine must be re-
configured for operation above 2,000 feet (609.6 m) altitude.
Operating the engine with the wrong engine configuration at
a given altitude may increase its emissions, decrease fuel
efficiency, degrade performance, and cause irreversible dam-
age. Engines configured for high altitude operation cannot
be operated in standard altitude conditions. An authorized
dealer should ensure that your engine is properly configured
for your location.
