Not included in the warranty:
• Lubricants, packaging material and various consumables which are not associated with repair work
on recognised faults
• All maintenance or other work arising from wear, accidents or operating conditions as well as dri-
ving while failing to observe the information provided by the manufacturer
• All incidents such as development of noise, vibrations, wear of the wheels, brakes etc. which do not
significantly impair the driving and vehicle performance
• Damage attributable to the installation of non-original parts or eorts by the user to repair the
damage himself
• The use of non-original spare parts
• Damage incurred by road chips, hailstones, de-icing salt, industrial fumes, poor care (e.g. poor
battery charging) or unsuitable care products
• The following components, excluding unambiguous material or manufacturing defects (e.g. breaka-
ge, incorrect assembly)
• Components which are replaced during normal maintenance work, e.g. batteries, tyres, brakes
• Components subject to wear, e.g. tyres, brake pads, cables, lamps, fuses, battery, stands, foot-
board, brake cable or suspension fork
• Costs of maintenance, servicing and cleaning work
• Defects originally attributable to a lack of or untimely battery charging
• The warranty claim only entitles the customer to demand that the defect be remedied. Claims for
conversion and reduction shall only apply after several failed attempts at improvement.
• The manufacturer is responsible for examining and deciding as regards warranty claims.
• Compensation will not be provided for direct or indirect claims.
• Warranty claims will only be taken into consideration if they are asserted against the corresponding
EGRET dealer or EGRET itself immediately after detection of the defect in a certified EGRET
repair shop.
• Warranty claims do not result in the warranty term being renewed or extended.
• The warranty conditions shall only apply within the Federal Republic of Germany.
• Agreements other than those outlined above shall only be valid if confirmed in writing by the ma-
nufacturer.
• The warranty term for the battery and other wear parts such as cables, tyres or brakes shall be 6
months for private use.
• The purchase receipt must be presented when asserting warranty claims.
• You can call our service hotline if you have any technical queries or issues relating to the warranty
(always have your chassis number to hand). This number is indicated on the cover of these opera-
ting instructions.
