Summary

Assembling the Pump

Step 1: Install Pump onto Motor

Install the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE D5 onto the EK-D5 PWM G2 Motor, ensuring the O-ring gasket is seated correctly. Rotate motor if required.

Step 2: Secure the Motor

Secure the EK-D5 PWM G2 Motor onto the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE D5 using the provided Locking Ring.

Alternative Damper

Step 1: Install Alternative Damper

Use the alternative soft rubber damper to reduce vibrations; ensure pyramids face upwards. Recommended for vertical installation.

Using EK-HD Tube

Step 1: Install EK-HD Tube

Replace the anticyclone with the EK-HD Tube to resolve air bleeding or vortexing issues. Insert O-ring and tube into the center hole.

Using Top Port as Inlet

Important: Top Port Usage

Ensure correct gasket placement and fitting installation sequence. Use compatible fittings (G1/4 thread, <5mm length) to avoid damage.

Installing the Reservoir

Step 1: Position and Drill

Find an appropriate mounting position. Drill mounting holes if needed, using the enclosed sticker for precise marking.

Step 2: Attach Pump Holder

Attach the pump holder to the computer chassis using M4x10 screws and PVC washers, secured with the 2.5mm Allen key.

Step 3: Install Pump/Reservoir

Insert the rubber damper into the holder, then the pump/reservoir assembly. Secure with M3x12 screws.

Attaching Fittings

Caution: Port Identification

Identify INLET and OUTLET ports. Use compatible fittings (G1/4, <5mm thread). Block unused ports with enclosed G1/4 Plugs.

Connecting the D-RGB LED

Step 1: Connect LED to Motherboard

Connect the 3-pin D-RGB LED to the motherboard's DRGB HEADER (+5V, Digital, Ground). Ensure correct pin alignment to prevent damage.
