9.1 What to do if...
With some problems programme indicators flash intermittently indicating a
malfunction.
Problem The display
shows...
Possible solution
You cannot activate the
appliance.
- Make sure that the mains plug is con‐
nected to the mains socket.
Make sure that there is no damaged
fuse in the fuse box.
The programme does
not start.
- Make sure that the appliance door is
closed.
Press the start button.
If the delay start is set, cancel the set‐
ting or wait for the end of the count‐
down.
The appliance does not
drain the water.
- Make sure that the drain hose is cor‐
rectly connected.
Make sure that the filters in the appli‐
ance are clean.
Make sure that the kitchen sink drains
correctly.
The appliance does not
fill with water and an in‐
termittent acoustic signal
sounds for approximate‐
ly 30 seconds.
E1 Make sure that the water tap is open.
Make sure that the pressure of the wa‐
ter supply is not too low. For this infor‐
mation, contact your local water authori‐
ty.
Make sure that the water tap is not
clogged.
The required tempera‐
ture is not reached.
E3 Contact an Authorised Service Centre.
The anti-flood device is
on and an intermittent
acoustic signal sounds
for approximately 30
seconds.
E4 Close the water tap and contact an Au‐
thorised Service Centre.
