Local DHCP Server configuration:
- Start Address starting address in the IP address pool;
- Pool size number of addresses in the pool;
- Lease time (minutes) set the maximum time for IP address lease issued by DHCP server
to the connected device, in minutes.
To save changes, click ‘Save Changes’ button.
Static IP address configuration allows you rigidly tie IP address (transmitted by DHCP server) to
client’s MAC address.
To add new static IP address, click ‘Add’ button and fill in the following fields:
- MAC Address set static МАС-address. It is assigned in XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX format;
- IP Address set static IP address for assigned MAC address.
Click Add button to enter the IP address into the static IP address list for DHCP server.
To remove an address from the list, click the 'Delete' link next to the selected address.
Client’s Mac address, IP address extracted from the pool, client name and lease duration of the
address are specified in the table Active DHCP Leases.
When you press ‘Enable/disable DHCP Relay’ button, DHCP agent-repeater will be turned off/on.
To store changes to the operative memory of the device, click the Save Changes button. To store
settings into the non-volatile memory, click Apply changes button.
2.2.3 The ‘Hosts’ submenu
In the submenu, a local DNS server can be configured by adding 'IP addressdomain name'
pairs into the database.
