ping [repeat <value>] [payload <value>] [df-bit do|dont|want] [tos <value>] [timeout
<value>] destination
Parameters
<repeat> is the number of icmp echo requests (5 by default);
<payload> is the size of the data unit to be sent in a single icmp packet as a payload (in bytes) (56
by default);
<df-bit> enables “don’t fragment bit” (disabled by default);
<tos> is a type-of-service tag in the icmp packet to be sent (default: 0);
<timeout> is a timeout in seconds for response to a sent icmp echo request (default: 2);
destination – destination host address.
<value> – parameter value:
for repeat: 1-4294967295
