Two-port 10-Gb/s RJ-45 Base-T iSCSI/IP I/O module
The two-port 10-Gb/s RJ-45 Base-T iSCSI/IP I/O module (labeled 10 GbE Base-T on the
latch handle) comes with two 10-Gb/s Base-T copper (RJ-45) ports, one power/fault LED,
and a link and activity LED for each port (Figure 50). The Base-T ports on this I/O module
can interface at speeds of 10 Gb/s for iSCSI networks. The two-port 10-Gb/s Base-T I/O
module uses EIA Category 6 or 6a Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) or EIA Category 7 fully
Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) copper cabling (for more information about these types of
cables, see Table 16, “Ethernet cabling guidelines,” on page 34 or Table 21, “Ethernet
cabling guidelines,” on page 40).
Note: The two-port 10-Gb/s Base-T I/O module requires VNX OE for file version 7.1 or later.
