Formatting a disc (cont’d)
Video mode is set as the default
recording format for DVD-RW.
You can change it to VR mode
from the Setting Menu.

Hit [SETUP] in the stop
mode.
Easy Setting Menu or Advanced
Setting Menu will appear.

Using [K / L], Select “Disc”.
Hit [ENTER].
Disc menu will appear.

Using [K / L], select
“Format”. Hit [ENTER].
Confirmation window will appear.

Using [K / L], select “Ye s ”.
Hit [ENTER].
Final confirmation window will
appear.

Using [K / L], select “Ye s ”.
Hit [ENTER].
Formatting will start.

Formatting is complete.
100% will be indicated.
