1. Select: Overview Device Information Identification.
2. Enter desired string into the Message area.

RTU communication setup
The Rosemount 5300 is configured with the default Modbus RTU address 246, and with
the following Modbus RTU communication parameter default settings:

To reset the communication parameters to default Modbus RTU settings, use the
following Modbus Message:

You want to use address 44 for the Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter, and the following
communication parameters are used by the host:

To configure the Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter to communicate with the Host in this
