OTHER
EQUIPMENT
CONNECTION
TO
THE
TV
WITH
AUDIO/VIDEO
JACKS.
The
standard
connections
are
descibed
on
page
8.
If,
however,
your
TV
has
AUDIO/VIDEO
jacks
and
you
connect
them
to
the
VCR
as
shown
below
you
receive
better
quality
pictures
and
sound.
In
this
case,
set
TV
input
select
switch
to
video
position.
(No
need
to
set
the
VCR/TV
select
switch
to
VCR
position.)
CONNECTION
TO
THE
STEREO
EQUIPMENT
If
you
connect
to
the
stereo
equipment,
you
can
playback
sound
from
the
speaker
of
the
stereo
equip
ment.
AUDIO
cord
(not
supplied)
DUPLICATING
A
VIDEO
TAPE
If
you
connect
the
VCR
to
another
one,
you
can
duplicate
a
pre-recorded
tape.
It
is
recommended
that
you
should
set
the
TAPE
SPEED
to
SP
mode
on
the
recording
VCR.
When
you
playback
the
duplicated
tape,
adjust
the
PICTURE
control
to
SOFT
position
to
get
the
better
picture.
Press
the
REC
button
on
recording
VCR,
then
press
the
PAUSE/STILL
button.
Press
the
PLAY
button
on
playback
VCR,
then
press
the
PAUSE/STILL
button.
Press
the
PAUSE/STILL
button
on
the
both
VCRs
simultaneously.
NOTE
After
duplicating,
disconnect
the
cable
from
the
AUDIO/VIDEO
IN
jacks.
You
cannot
record
TV
program
if
you
keep
the
connections.
THE
VIDEO
AND
AUDIO
JACKS
CAN
BE
USED
TO
CONNECT
THE
VCR
TO
OTHER
AUDIO
OR
VIDEO
UNIT.
The
VIDEO
IN
and
AUDIO
IN
jacks
have
priority
over
other
inputs.
Recording
of
broadcasts
with
the
VCR
tuner
is
not
possible
when
the
VIDEO
and
AUDIO
input
jacks
are
in
use.
