TROUBLESHOOTING
THE EMP-1 DIVIDER
WARNING: BEFORE CHECKING OR REPLACING ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, ELEC-
TRICAL POWER MUST BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE DIVIDER .FAILURE TO DO SO
MAY RESULT IN DEATH OR INJURY.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Divider will not run (no
operation)
no power at outlet check for 220V 3 phase at
electrical outlet
loose connections in electrical
plug
check/tighten all wire
connections
main power switch o turn on main power switch
stop switch engaged disengage stop switch
TH1 thermal protector
tripped
push reset button on TH1
start switch defective check/replace if defective
transformer fuse/s blown check/replace fuses
plastic access door safety
switch and/or magnet
defective
check/replace if defective
R2 relay not energizing or
defective
check/replace if defective
(see wiring diagram)
T1 motor contactor not
energizing or defective
check/replace if defective
(see wiring diagram)
blown motor fuses check/replace if blown
motor defective check/replace if necessary
