A note about solar monitoring
For the Vue to be able to calculate how much
energy from the system is going to and from
the grid, Branch CTs will need to be connected
to the incoming leads from the inverter
regardless of whether the solar is a
breaker-fed or a line-side tap installation.
Specify the circuits monitored by these CTs
as ‘Solar/Generation’ in the app. If only one
CT is used, input a circuit multiplier in the app
to double or triple the reading by entering a
“2” or “1.7”.
