Symptom Solutions
Water comes into the powder chamber
or leaks from the cap
Check the dental unit connection
Check the state of the o-rings of the turbine connection
Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
Dry and ll the powder chamber
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
No powder/air jet coming from the unit
Cut immediately the air input by releasing the foot pedal
Wait for 1-2 minutes for the system to decompress
Disconnect the unit from the dental unit
Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
if no air comes out of the turbine connector, it is your dental unit that causes the problem
If air comes out, it is the device that causes the problem
Unscrew the cap above the wash-hand basin, because the powder can be ejected. A sealed apparatus, even
disconnected, can indeed remain under pressure
Empty the powder chamber and screw the cap back on
Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
Connect the handpiece to the unit
Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
If air comes through the handpiece connector, the handpiece is blocked. Clean the handpiece
If no air comes out of the handpiece connector, the unit is blocked
Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
No water spray is coming from the
nozzle
Change the nozzle
Remove the nozzle and verify that a water jet comes out from the handpiece
Send the device to a certied EMS Repair Center
Water leakage between the
handpiece and the nozzle
(unusual leak of droplets)
Check the position of the nozzle and its position on the handpiece
Change the nozzle
Check for residues between the nozzle and the handpiece
Check that nothing a󰀨ects the alignment of the nozzle
