BATTERY CHANGING:
Depending on the usage, the remote batteries should be changed at
least once a year in the one way remote and once every 4-8 months for
the two-way remote.
The 1-way remote, (E-7s) is powered by a pair of 3V, CR2016
batteries.
These batteries are available at most locations batteries are sold and can
be replaced by the user.
Battery Level Indicator (2-way remote)
The Battery Level indicator has three level indicators that serve as a visual
indication of battery charge. When the battery reaches a low charge level
that requires changing, the remote control will generate a single
notification chirp, and the Battery Level indicator
will flash
continuously. If the battery voltage is LOW, the range of the remote will be
reduced by 50% to conserve battery life. The two way remote requires 2, 3
Volt CR2032 batteries. The operation lives of these batteries are affected
by many factors including, temperature, usage, back-light ON time and
programmable “in range status settings”. Do not allow these batteries to
corrode or become wet for any extended period of time.
