message remains if the HistoROM
and the device have different
software versions. The message goes
out if you copy the data from the
device to the HistoROM.
Device reset codes such as 7864 do
not have any effect on the
HistoROM. That means that if you
perform a reset, the configurations
in the HistoROM and in the device
may not be the same.
