SIL wizard Availability
Available for the following versions of feature 590 "Additional approval":

Function
• Wizard for the proof test which must be performed at regular intervals in the following
applications:
SIL (IEC61508/IEC61511)
• To perform a proof test, the device must be locked (SIL locking).
• The wizard can be used via FieldCare, DeviceCare or a DTM-based process control system.
Heartbeat Diagnostics Availability
Available in all device versions.
Function
• Continuous self-monitoring of the device.
• Diagnostic messages output to
• the local display.
• an asset management system (e.g. FieldCare/DeviceCare).
• an automation system (e.g. PLC).
Advantages
• Device condition information is available immediately and processed in time.
• The status signals are classified in accordance with VDI/VDE 2650 and NAMUR recommendation
NE 107 and contain information about the cause of the error and remedial action.
