5.2.2 Display symbols
The following table describes the symbols that appear on the liquid crystal display:
Light emitting diods (LEDs):
There is a green and a red LED besides the liquid crystal display.
Symbols Meaning
ALARM_SYMBOL
This alarm symbol appears when the device is in an alarm state. If the symbol flashes, this indicates a
warning.
LOCK_SYMBOL
This lock symbol appears when the device is locked, i.e. if no input is possible.
COM_SYMBOL
This communication symbol appears when a data transmission via e.g. HART is in progress.
Calibration to regulatory standards disturbed
If the device is not locked or it cannot guarantee the calibration to regulatory standards, the situation will
be indicated on the display via the symbol.
LED (LED) Meaning
red LED continuously on Alarm
red LED flashes Warning
red LED off No alarm
green LED continuously on Operation
Green LED flashes Communication with external device
