Required tools/accessories:
• For devices with a cover lock: Allen key AF3
• Wire stripper
• When using stranded cables: One ferrule for every wire to be connected.

1. Loosen the screw of the securing clamp on the connection compartment cover and turn
the securing clamp 90° counterclockwise.
2. Unscrew the connection compartment cover.
3. Push the cable through the cable entry . To ensure tight sealing, do not remove the
sealing ring from the cable entry.
4. Remove the cable sheath.
5. Strip the cable ends over a length of 10 mm (0.4 in). In the case of stranded cables, also
fit ferrules.
6. Firmly tighten the cable glands.
