8 Diagnostics and troubleshooting
The operating status of the device is indicated by the LEDs on the electronic insert.
8.1 Diagnostic information via LEDs
8.1.1 Green LED flashing
Green LED indicates operation:
• flashes every 5 s
the device is in the operation mode
• flashes once per 1 s
the device is in the calibration mode
• flashes 4x:
the device confirms a parameter change, function switch position 4, 5, 6
8.1.2 Red LED flashing
To analyze the errors find the list in the chapter "Error codes" → 77
Red LED indicates a fault.
• Warning: LED flashes 5x per second
• capacitance at probe is too high
• probe insulation break detection
• FEI50H is defective
• Alarm: LED flashes 1x per second
the temperature in the electronic insert is over the permitted range
8.2 System error messages
8.2.1 Error signal
Errors occurring during commissioning or during operation are displayed as follows:
• error symbol, error code and error description on the display and operating module
• current output, can be set:
• Max: 110%, 22 mA
• Hold - last value is retained
• User-spec. value
8.2.2 Last errors
This function enables to call up a list of most recent errors.
8.2.3 Types of error
The alarm is represented by the symbol
which appears on the display. An error message
is also shown on the display.
The output signal assumes a value that can be specified with the "Output on alarm"
function:
• Max: 110%, 22 mA
• Hold - last value is retained
• User-spec. value
