Safety instructions:
Installation
• Install the device according to the manufacturer's instructions and any other valid standards and regulations.
• Do not operate the device outside the specified electrical, thermal and mechanical parameters.
• Only install the devices in media for which the wetted materials have sufficient durability.
• Mechanically fix rope and rod probes which are more than 3 m (e.g. using guy ropes).
• Level probes with ground tubes are suitable for use in gases of Group IIC, IIB and IIA.
• Level probes without ground tubes are suitable for use in gases of Group IIC and IIB if there is no electrostatic
charging of the probes.
These probes are indicated by the warning sign “Avoid Electrostatic Charge”.
• Do not open in a potentially explosive dust atmosphere.
• To maintain the ingress protection of the housing, install the housing cover and cable glands correctly.
• Only use cable glands with ATEX-Ex e approval or metallic glands with an ingress protection of at least IP65,
which are suitable for an ambient temperature of -50° to +70°C. Lay connecting cable and secure.
• Close unused entry glands with approved sealing plugs.
F17, F13, T13 housing:
• Tighten the cover with torque 12 Nm.
F15 housing:
• During operation, the cover must be screwed all the way in and the cover's safety catch must be fastened.
Installation:

for Ex nL
Type of protection Ex nL has been removed from the standard in edition EN/IEC 60079-15:2010 and replaced
by type of protection Ex ic according to EN 60079-11:2007.
