9.8 Replacing the device fuse

Warning!
Risk of electric shock! Exposed components carry dangerous voltages. Make sure that
the power supply is switched off before you remove the cover of the electronics
compartment.
The device fuse is located on the electronics board ( → Fig. 41).
The procedure for replacing the fuse is as follows:
1. Switch off power supply.
2. Unscrew cover of the electronics compartment from the transmitter housing.
3. Press the side latches and flip down the cover of the connection compartment.
4. Disconnect the connector (a) for the power supply
5. Replace device fuse (b).
Use only fuses of the following type:
– Power supply 11...40 V DC / 20...28 V AC → 1.6 A slow-blow / 250 V TR5
– Power supply 85...250 V DC → 1 A slow-blow / 250 V TR5
6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
