5 Operation
5.1 Displ ay and operati ng el ements
The local display enables you to read all important parameters directly at the measuring
point and configure the device using the “Quick Setup” or the function matrix.

Liquid-crystal display (1)
The backlit, four-line liquid-crystal display shows measured values, dialog texts and both system and process
error messages. The display as it appears when normal measuring is in progress is known as the HOME posi-
tion (operating mode).

Plus / Minus keys (3)
– HOME position → Direct access to totalizer values and actual values of inputs/outputs
– Enter numerical values, select parameters
– Select different blocks, groups or function groups within the function matrix
Press the +/
− keys simultaneously to trigger the following functions:
– Exit the function matrix step by step
→ HOME position
– Press and hold down +/– keys for longer than 3 seconds
→ Return directly to the HOME position
– Cancel data entry
Enter key (4)
– HOME position → Entry into the function matrix
– Save the numerical values you input or settings you change
