15 Read output information of
primary process variable
Access type = read
none Byte 0: Alarm selection ID
Byte 1: Transfer function ID
Byte 2: HART unit code for the set measuring
range of the primary process variable
Bytes 3-6: End of measuring range, value for
20 mA
Bytes 7-10: Start of measuring range, value
for 4 mA
Bytes 11-14: Attenuation constant in [s]
Byte 15: Write protection ID
Byte 16: OEM dealer ID, 17 = E+H
Factory setting:
Primary process variable = Volume flow

bles to process variables using Command
51.
Manufacturer-specific units are represented
using the HART unit code “240”.
16 Read the device production
number
Access type = read
none Bytes 0-2: Production number
17 Write user message
Access = write
You can save any 32-character long text in the
device under this parameter:
Bytes 0-23: Desired user message
Displays the current user message in the
device:
Bytes 0-23: Current user message in the device
18 Write TAG, descriptor and
date
Access = write
With this parameter, you can store an 8 charac-
ter TAG, a 16 character descriptor and a date:
Bytes 0-5: TAG
Bytes 6-17: descriptor
Bytes 18-20: Date
Displays the current information in the device:
Bytes 0-5: TAG
Bytes 6-17: descriptor
