9.6.4 Replacing the device fuse

Warning!
Risk of electric shock. Exposed components carry dangerous voltages. Make sure that the
power supply is switched off before you remove the cover of the electronics compartment.
The main fuse is on the power unit board. → 72
The procedure for replacing the fuse is as follows:
1. Switch off power supply.
2. Remove the power unit board. → 148
3. Remove the protection cap (1) and replace the device fuse (2).
Use only fuses of the following type:
– 20 to 55 V AC / 16 to 62 V DC 2.0 A slow-blow / 250 V; 5.2 x 20 mm
– Power supply 85 to 260 V AC 0.8 A slow-blow / 250 V; 5.2 x 20 mm
– Ex-rated devices see the Ex documentation
4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
