Shut down device
1. Open System.
2. Open Device management.
3. Open Device reset.
4. Select Shut down device.
5. Press OK to confirm.
 As soon as F418 appears on the local display, the device can be disconnected
from the power supply by means of DIP switch B without any loss of data.
If an external power supply (external battery pack) is available, the device does
not need to be switched off.
6. Replace the empty battery pack.

Turn the cover to the right by a 1/4 turn.

Lift off the cover.

Open the cover of the electronics carrier.

Take the battery out of the battery compartment (it is still attached,
however) and disconnect the battery plug.

Now remove the battery from
the battery compartment
entirely.
