Signal outside the set filter range –
Err. No. 396
Local display:
S SIGNAL>LOW PASS
$ # 396
BLOCK_ERR = Other OUT. QUALITY =
BAD
Cause of error:
The device finds the signal outside
the set filter range.
Possible causes:
• The flow is outside the
measuring range.
• The signal is caused by a strong
vibration which is intentionally
not measured and outside the
measuring range.
Remedy:
• Check whether the device was
installed in the flow direction.
• Verify that the correct option
was selected in the "Process
Param. - Application" parameter
in the Transducer Block "Flow"
(Page 93).
• Check whether the operating
conditions are within the
specifications of the measuring
device (e.g. flow is above
measuring range which means
that the flow may have to be
reduced)
If the check does not solve the
problem, please contact your E+H
service organization.
