Temperature ranges of sensors
The maximum permissible ambient and medium temperatures must be adhered to at
all times. When installed outdoors, specially in countries with high ambient
temperatures please provide a weatherproof hood as protection against direct solar
radiation.
Promag A
Ambient temperature: 20...+ 60 °C
Medium temperature: –20...+130 °C PFA
Promag D
Ambient temperature: –20...+ 60 °C
Medium temperature: 40...+150 °C PTFE (Teflon)
–20...+120 °C soft rubber (EPDM)
0...+ 80 °C hard rubber
Promag H
Ambient temperature: –20... + 60 °C
Medium temperature: 20... +150 °C PFA
–20... +130 °C with EPDM gaskets
Promag F
Ambient temperature: –20... + 60 °C

Caution!
At high medium and ambient temperatures it is necessary to mount the Promag F, H
sensor and Promag 30 transmitter separately. Risk of the electronics becoming
over-heated (Fig. 57)!
