CAUTION
Installation of an anchor weight
Using an anchor weight that is heavier than 6 kg (13.23 lb) may cause internal damage to the
temperature probe.
‣
Ensure that the anchor weight is stable at the bottom of the tank. When installing NMT81
with a suspended anchor weight, use an anchor weight that weighs 6 kg (13.23 lb) or less.
Anchor weight installation procedure
1. Tie the bottom hook of the temperature probe or the WB probe to the anchor weight's
ring using a stranded wire.
2. Wrap the stranded wire twice around the bottom hook. Pull it downwards and tie it
down, and then bundle it with the provided securing wire.
3. Using bolts, secure the flange of NMT81 to the nozzle at the top of the tank.
This completes the procedure for installing an anchor weight.
