5.13 Mounting NMT81 on a pressurized tank
In a pressurized tank, a protective pipe or a thermowell without any holes, slits, nor an open
end must be installed in order to protect the probes from pressure.
To prevent damage to temperature probe and WB probe, ensure that they do not touch
anything during insertion through the installation nozzle.

If the pressure inside a tank exceeds the pressure limit, install a thermowell with no
holes or slits surrounding NMT81 to protect NMT81 from the application (process)
pressure. However, NMS8x requires a stilling well with holes and slits.
