Troubleshooting
General Problems
Cannot configure the Internal Print Server or cannot print from
the network.
Cause What to do
Printersettingsornetwork
settings may be wrong.
First,checkifyou can print a status sheet,
as described in “Printing a Network
Status Sheet” on page 12.
If not, set the interface mode of the
printer’scontrolpaneltoAuto or Option.
If you can print a status sheet, check the
network settings.
You might use a wrong hub. If you are using 100Base-TX, use a hub
which supports 100Base-TX.
Unable to start EpsonNet WinAssist.
Cause What to do
You have added or deleted
protocols after installing
EpsonNet WinAssist.
Uninstall EpsonNet WinAssist and
reinstall it. See “Uninstalling Software”
on page 227 and “Installing EpsonNet
WinAssist” on page 42.
