3. Carefully slide the Stay Shaft (Carriage Guide Shaft) towards the left side of the printer.
4. Remove the SS Bearing and washer from the right side of the Stay Shaft.
5. Slide the Stay Shaft to the left, removing it from the Carrier Unit (Carriage Assembly).
