1.3 INTERFACE SPECIFICATIONS
LQ-300
has a
Centronics<ompatible
parallel interface and an
EIA-232D
serial interface, one of
which can be selected in default setting mode. Auto selection is also available.
1.3.1 Parallel Interface
The parallel interface has two modes:
. Compatible mode

. When the INIT input signal is active
. During a printer error
. During the self-test mode
. During the default setting mode
. When the parallel interface is not selected
The ERROR signal is active (LOW) under the following conditions:
. When a paper-out error occurs
. When a release lever operation error occurs
When a fatal error occurs
The PE signal is active (HIGH) under the following conditions:
When a
paper-out error occurs
