1.9.3 SANPS(E) BOARD
The power supply circuit (SANPS/SANPSE board), which is housed at the upper left of the lower case, con-
sists of a line filter, fuse, power switch, and switching regulator circuit. It converts the AC line voltage to
the + 24 V, + 12 V, - 12 V, and + 5 VDC voltages used by the printer.

1.9.4 PRINTER MECHANISM (M-5710)
The M-5710 printer mechanism was developed expressly for use with LQ-510 printer. Its components in-
clude a carriage motor, carriage mechanism, paper-feed motor, paper-feed mechanism, ribbon-feed
mechanism, printhead, and sensors.
