2.3.5.3 Paper-Feed Motor Drive Circuit
The paper-feed motor drive circuit is shown in Figure 2-60. The paper-feed motor is a stepper motor that
can utilize either 2-2 phase or 1-2 phase excitation. When paper-feed signal PA4 is set to LOW, Q27 is turn-
ed on, and +24 V is supplied to the motor. When the paper-feed motor is not driven, +5 V is supplied,
via resistor R30 and diode D3, to hold the motor.
