2.3 Operation Principle of Electric Circuit
The following electric circuits are used in the scanner.
 Main Board
 CCD Board
 Panel Board
This board has four buttons (Start/Copy/Scan to E-mail/Scan to PDF) and LED
lamp.
 Power supply
The scanner is powered with 24 VDC voltage from the AC adapter.
 AC adapter rated voltage
• Rated output DC24V 1.3A
• Input Voltage AC100-120V ± 15% (100V)
AC220-240V ± 15% (200V)
• Rated Input Current 1.0A (AC 100V system)
0.5A (AC 200V system)
• Input Frequency Range 50 to 60Hz ± 0.3Hz
• Output Voltage DC24 to 26.4V
The 24 VDC voltage is supplied to CN4 on the Main Board. A power switch is located
between the DC jack and the Main Board.
