Although the ASF Motor runs, the
LD Roller does not rotate to feed
paper. (The driving force from the
ASF Motor is not transmitted to
the LD Roller.)
Paper is not set
correctly. Set the
paper correctly; then
press the Roll Paper
button if using roll
paper, or press the
Maintenance button if
using sheet paper.
Clutch Mechanism 1. Check to see if the tension spring 0.143 comes off in the
Clutch mechanism.
2. Check to see if the clutch is dislocated from the
projection on the LD Roller.
3. Check to see if the clutch tooth is broken.
1. Reinstall the tension spring 0.143 inside the
clutch mechanism.
2. Reinstall the clutch so that the round hole in the
clutch is put correctly on the projection on the
LD Roller.
3. Replace the clutch mechanism with a new one.
Ink System Unit 1. Check to see if the Compression spring 1.47 comes off
from the Change lever.
1. Reinstall the compression spring 1.47 on the
Change Lever properly.
The LD Roller is not set to the
ASF home position, thus paper is
always taken in.
Ink System Unit 1. Check to see if the tip of the Change lever has any
damage.
1. Replace the Change lever with a new one.
