In the CL sequence, ink is ejected to the
Waste ink pad. But, dot missing occurs on all
the nozzles in the printing and is not solved
even by several times of CL.
*If the problem is not solved, replace the
Main Board with a new one.
- Cap Unit 7. Check to see if the Slider Lock Lever is damaged. 7. Replace the Cap Unit with a new one.
Ink Cartridge 1. Check to see if ink is remaining in the ink cartridge. 1. Replace the Ink Cartridge with a new one.
Print Head 1. Check to see if there is any foreign matter on the nozzle
surface of the print head.
2. Check to see if the Head FFC is connected to the CN8 and
CN9 on the Main Board.
3. Check to see if any damage is observed on the Head FFC.
4. Check to see if each segment is printed correctly in the
nozzle check pattern.
1. Perform wiping operation.
2. Connect the Head FFC securely to the CN8 and
CN9 on the Main Board.
3. Replace the Head FFC with a new one.
4. Execute head cleaning and check the nozzle
check pattern.
If the problem is not solved, replace the Print
Head with a new one.
[Stripes perpendicular to the CR moving
direction appear, with uneven density of
print.]
*If the problem is not solved, replace the CR
Motor with a new one.
CR Unit 1. Check to see if the surface of the CR Guide Shaft has any
sever stain.
2. Check to see if the surface of the CR Guide Shaft is free from
scratches.
3. Check to see if grease has been applied sufficiently to the CR
Guide Shaft.
4. Check to see if the CR Guide Shaft is secured to the Main
Frame properly.
5. Check to see if the ink cartridge is fastened with the ink
cartridge cover.
1. Remove the foreign matter from the CR Guide
Shaft carefully.
2. Replace the CR Guide Shaft with a new one.
3. Clean the surface of the CR Guide Shaft with
the dry soft cloth and lubricate G-56 inside the
CR Guide Shaft. Refer to Table 6-3 in Chapter
6.
4. Reinstall the CR Guide Shaft properly.
5. Replace the Ink Cartridge cover with a new
one.
