 Align the Guide Pin and four Tabs on the ASF Assy with
the positioning holes on the Main Frame so that there is
no gap between the ASF Assy and the Main Frame.

 Tighten the screws in the order shown in Figure 4-23.

 Adjusting the Position of the ASF Guide Roller LDs
When installing the Guide Roller LDs, the position of the
Guide Roller LDs must be adjusted so that the positions
of the LD Roller Shaft and Retard Roller are optimized in
order to maintain the paper feed accuracy.
1. After installing the ASF Assy, loosen the two C.B.S.
M3 x 6 screws that secure the Guide Roller LD. Refer
to Figure 4-22.
2. Turn Combination Gear 29.11 on the right side of the
ASF Assy CCW to raise the Hopper to the upper limit
position (until the Hopper Pad contacts the LD
Roller).
