4.4.15 Release Assy
1. Remove the Printer Mechanism. (p.107)
2. Remove the APG Assy. (p.111)
3. From the direction of the rear of the printer, remove the screws (x3).
4. Press the projection at the front left side to disengage the hooks (x3) of the Release
Assy.
5. Press the projections (x2), and slide the Release Assy upward and remove it.

P O I N T
Remove the CD-R Sensor 2 as follows: remove the screw (x1),
remove the CD-R Sensor Cover and then remove the CD-R
Sensor 2.
 Lubrication is necessary. Refer to the following section and
lubricate the specified points:
• Lubrication of Release Assy (p.153)
 Install the Release Assy as follows: engage all the hooks with
the frame properly, and tighten the screws while pressing the
Release Assy from above so that there is no clearance at the
locations shown at right. (See Figure 4-61)

Release Assy
At installation, tighten the screws while pressing Release Assy from
above, and make sure that there is no clearance in the windows shown.
