7. Place the gauge on the Paper Guide Front Assy at its left end. (See Figure 5-7)
8. Move the Carriage Assy over the gauge.
9. Turn each of the Adjustment Bushes to a position where the Printhead comes in
contact with the gauge. (See Figure 5-8)
10. Make the PG adjustment again at the right end.
11. Tighten up the screws securing the right and left Adjustment Bushes.
NOTE: Screw tightening torque: 0.59 ± 0.1 N

 Adjust the right and left bushes so that the gauge is in even
contact with the printing face of the Printhead.
 Turn the bush for the front side shaft by the same scale as the
bush for the main shaft, as a rule.
Set the gauge at the left end, and
move the carriage over the gauge.
