Replacing an Ink Cartridge
The printer’s indicator lights will inform you as described
below when it is time to obtain a replacement ink cartridge and
when it is time to replace an empty cartridge.
Note:
If you need to replace an ink cartridge when the B and A lights are off,
see ‘‘Ink Cartridge Problems’’ on page 8-30.
EPSON recommends the use of genuine EPSON ink cartridges.
Other products not manufactured by EPSON may cause
damage to your printer not covered by EPSON’s warranties.
When the B ink out light is
q flashing obtain a replacement black ink cartridge
(S020093).
q on replace the empty black ink cartridge.
When the A ink out light is
q flashing obtain a replacement color ink cartridge
(S020110).
q on replace the empty color ink cartridge.
Note:
If the ink runs out, you cannot continue printing until you replace it
even if the other ink cartridge still contains ink.
