Troubleshooting Service engineer require message 99
SERVICE REQ. 00010007: CR motor in position time out
Problem
CR motor in position time out
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when the carriage or paper cannot
move into the last target position through CR motor control within the required
time during stop processing.
Check Points
1. No dirt or foreign objects (dust, etc.) on CR encoder or Scale, CR.
2. No abnormality with CR timing belt and proper tension of the belt.
(Refer to 5.3.1 "CR steal belt tension adjustment")
3. No unusual loads on grid roller rotation.
4. CR motor resistance measurement. (approx. 6.7Ω)
If it is shorted, replace the C362DRV Board at the same time.
5. Perform encoder check with self-diagnostic program. (Refer to Chapter 5,
Section 5.3 "Sensor, CR Encoder")
6. Harness connections are correct and no shorts or wire disruptions.
Solution
1. Replace the CR encoder sensor (5.3.1 "CR steal belt tension adjustment")
2. Replace the CR encoder (5.3.1 "CR steal belt tension adjustment")
3. Replace the C362DRV board (5.2.2 "Parameter Backup")
SERVICE REQ. 00010008: Servo interruption watch dog time out error
Problem
Servo interruption watch dog time out error (DC motor drive interruption)
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when watch dog time out is detected
by the DC motor control circuit (CPU or ASIC) at time of CR motor or PF motor
drive.
Solution
1. Replace the C362DRV board
2. Replace the C362MAIN board
SERVICE REQ. 00010009: System interruption watch dog time out error
Problem
System interruption watch dog time out error (System interruption)
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when disorderly operations or cache
problems are generated in the CPU or ASIC during C362DRV Board or
C362MAIN Board data processing stages.
Solution
Correct with the following steps because the CPU or ASIC has failed.
1. Replace the C362DRV board
2. Replace the C362MAIN board
