SERVICE REQ. 0001000A: CR origin (home position) sensor mulfanction
Problem
CR origin detection error (home position detection error for CR)
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when the home position cannot be
detected at home position detection time during power on initialization or during
printing or when the position cannot be detected within a set time.
Check Points
1. Is sensor operating properly? (Refer to 5.4.3.4 "Sensor".)
2. Is there damage due to foreign objects on the sensor?
Solution
1. Replace the C362DRV board
2. Replace the CR_HP detection sensor
This message will appear when the CR system (CR encoder/CR motor, etc.)
malfunctions, so widen the range of the investigation if the above steps do not
correct the problem.
SERVICE REQ. 0001000C: HS origin (head slide home position) sensors
malfunction
Problem
Head SLIDE origin detection error (head slide)
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when the head slide home position is
not detected at time of head platen gap variation (change) during power on
initialization or after paper set.
Check Points
1. Head slide home position sensor
1) Is sensor operating properly? (Refer to 5.4.3.4 "Sensor")
2) Is there damage due to dirt or foreign objects on the sensor or head platen
gap drive gear?
2. Head slide motor
1) Measure resistance.
2) Is motor operating properly? (Refer to 5.4.3.12 "Actuator 2")
3) Is there damage to the loop line of head platen gap drive gear?
3. Replace the C362DRV board
