Troubleshooting Service engineer require message 101
SERVICE REQ. 0001000D: Cover sensor mulfanction
SERVICE REQ. 0001000E: Cover sensor mulfanction
Problem
Front cover sensor malfunctioning
Explanation
One or two of the cover detection sensors (interlock switches) set at left/right front
cover installation shaft have malfunctioned.
Solution
Check 2 left/right sensor installation positions. If the error is not cancelled even
with correct positioning, check the cover open detection sensor.
In the case that there is abnormality:
1. Check that cover sensor cable is connected to C362DRV Board (CN4/5).
2. Replace the cover sensor
3. Replace the C362DRV board
SERVICE REQ. 0001000F: CR motor over heat (PWM output
Malfunction)
Problem
CR motor PWM current output malfunction
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when current above required value is
applied during CR motor driving.
This mode generates an abnormal load level not reaching the out of tune condition
00010005 for CR motor system, so the motor speed is detected as slow (by
encoder detection) and current is increased to raise the motor speed. In short, the
message appears to prevent overheating of the CR motor.
Treatment/Check Points
1. Check CR motor load.
1) CR motor rotation load (manual check)
2) CR motor resistance measurement
3) CR following pulley damage or wear
4) CR unit bearing damage or wear
5) CR rail upper run damage (gashes)
6) Steel belt tension
2. Replace the CR motor
3. Replace the C362DRV board
