4.3.3.13 Removing the Pump Cap Unit
1. Remove the Flushing Box as described in 4.3.3.14 "Removing Flushing Box".
2. Remove the Rear Cover as described in 4.3.1.7 "Rear Cover Removal".
3. Disconnect 2 cables of Pump Cap Assy from C362DRV Board CN12/CN13,
thread cables through hole in R side frame, and remove 3 screws clamping
bundled cables (3 places).
4. Remove the Core.

5. Disconnect cable connecting CSIC Board to Pump Cap Unit. (CSIC Board CN10)

6. Use a finger to grasp the rear side of the Ink Pump Assy and pull it in the direction
of the arrow. Release the carriage lock and move Carriage from the home position.

R E Q U I R E D
When Cleaning Unit has been replaced due to error generation
("SERVICE REQ. 00000100"), be sure to clear the following
counters.
Waste ink counter
Cleaning unit counter
C A U T I O N
Use caution because ink will overflow from ink tubes (3) when
Cleaning Unit is removed.
Cable
C A U T I O N
To prevent cable wire breakage, be careful not pinch cable when
installing core.
