CUTTER LIFE MONITOR
How to calculate:
Calculate with cumulative total of cutting times. (Reference value: 2000 times)
Counter is cleared with changing cutter.
WASTE INK COUNT
How to calculate:
It counts both right waste ink and left waste ink, and displays less one.
"Maintenance Req. 0101" is displayed when waste ink remaining reaches less than 4%.
However, printing is not stopped. When the remaining quantity reaches 0%, "Service
Req. 00000101" is displayed and printing is stopped. Perform Maintenance Kit part
replacement and clear the counter by initializing waste ink capacity in Maintenance
Mode 2.
CR MOTOR LIFE MONITOR
How to calculate:
It is calculated for trouble examination / obstacle prevention in case that it is used
beyond production life, because parts of CR motor and carriage drive mechanism are
not supported to exchange within production life. (Reference value: 4.8million passes)
"Maintenance Req. 0100" is displayed from the time the number of remaining passes
for CR reaches 4%. However, printing is not stopped. When number of passes reaches
4.8 million, "Service Req. 00000100" is displayed after printing is completed and
additional printing is stopped. This is the part life for the CR system, and continuing to
print can cause damage.
