Tip:
When using Mac OS X 10.4, or if items on the Page
Setup screen are not displayed on the Print screen
due to the application being used in Mac OS X 10.7,
10.6, or 10.5 follow the steps below to display the
Page Setup screen.
From the File menu of the application, click Page
Setup.

Check that this printer is selected, and then set
the paper size.
In Paper Size, select either of the following
depending on the loaded paper. XXXX is the
actual paper size, such as A4.
XXXX: Print with margins on roll paper. Prints
using the margin set in Roll Paper Margin from
the Menu. U “Printer Setup menu” on
page 103
XXXX (cut sheet): Print with margins on cut
sheets. Margins are 3 mm on the top, left, and
right, and 14 mm on the bottom.
When performing borderless or banner printing

printing (on roll paper)” on page 86

Select Print Settings from the list, and then set
each item.
Set the Media Type, Color, or Print Quality
according to the paper feed method for the paper
loaded in the printer (for cut sheets). Normally,
you can print correctly just by setting items in the
Print Settings screen.
F
When settings are complete, click Print.
The printer icon is displayed in the Dock while printing.
Click the printer icon to display the status. You can
check the progress of the current print job and the
printer status information. You can also cancel a print
job.
Also, if an error occurs while printing, a notification
message is displayed.
